Re-Solution Films is the production vehicle of Stefania Buonajuti — BAFTA and multi-award winning Senior Producer/Director with over 15 years of international filmmaking experience.

Stefania specialises in three intersecting worlds: investigative current affairs, natural history and conservation, and observational documentary — often combining all three in the same film. She is one of the leading female PDs working across hostile environments, expedition filmmaking, and criminal investigation, with a body of work spanning five continents and some of the world's most inaccessible places.

Her investigative work includes multiple episodes of Channel 4's Unreported World — going undercover in cartel territory in Mexico, tracking human trafficking in South Africa, and investigating Sharia law's grip on the Nigerian film industry. She has collaborated with Oscar-winning filmmaker Orlando von Einsiedel, and produced long-form investigations for Al Jazeera, working with Bellingcat to expose illegal UK arms flows into the Yemen conflict. She cut her teeth in criminal networks across 12 episodes of National Geographic's Drugs Inc, embedding with cartels, the DEA, and gang enforcers from Peru to Alaska.

In natural history and conservation, Stefania has worked with the BBC Natural History Unit on Big Cats About the House, filming jaguars and cheetahs across Cambodia, Costa Rica and Kenya, and has been a development producer on Apple TV+'s The Elephant Queen. Her conservation work is deeply personal — she is a passionate advocate for wildlife corridors and indigenous land rights, and brings that commitment to every project she takes on.

Stefania shoots cinema-grade content and owns her own kit — Sony FX3 with Ronin RS2 gimbal and prime lenses — giving productions both creative control and significant budget flexibility. She has filmed across more than 30 countries, is fluent in six languages (English, French, Italian, Spanish, Swahili and Portuguese), HEFAT trained, and CBR checked. Currently developing projects from Nairobi, Kenya, and available for commissions from mid-June 2026.
